Board Changes

The Board of Directors ("Board") of Alpha Strategic, the AIM listed hedge fund investment group, is pleased to announce the appointment of Florence Lombard as a Non-executive Director with immediate effect. 

Ms Lombard, aged 58, was head of the Alternative Investment Management Association Limited ("AIMA") in the United Kingdom, from 1993 until the end of 2008. Following the advent of the global financial crisis, she agreed to stay on as Executive Director focusing on the relationship with governments and policy makers internationally. In April 2010 she was appointed a Non-executive Director of AIMA. 

Ms Lombard is also a founder member and Chair of the Board of Directors of the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst Association and a Director of the Institute for Global Asset and Risk Management. 

There are no further disclosures required pursuant to paragraph (g) of Schedule 2 of the AIM Rules for Companies in respect of Ms Lombard's appointment.

The board is delighted to welcome Florence, whose knowledge and expertise will be an extremely valuable resource for the Company.

The Company also announces the resignation of Colin Clark as a Non-executive Director with immediate effect, due to personal reasons. The Board sincerely thanks Colin for his dedicated and significant contribution during his time with the Company.
